Hands down best frame shop in ENC. The Hornung's have a ton of experience in framing and are total perfectionists. They do the best work and have even helped me out in a jam (short deadlines). They are also the most pleasant people on the planet to work with, and their pricing is very reasonable. I would never go anywhere else. Additionally 1st street also functions as a really neat art gallery.
It features the work of Jim and Linda Hornung (the owners) such as puppy paintings, archeo art, and the puppy postcard project. If you live in north county and haven't seen their work its a must. Especially if you live in Encinitas, support the arts, shame on you! ( :P just kiddin ). The gallery also features other local artists.
